This export violin made for the British market was made by the Schuster family in Marktneukirchen. It has an easy, good and even sound.
Carl Friedrich Schuster (1788-1864) outlived his son Carl August (1818-1851) with whom he made this instrument.
Labelled: “Modell Ole Bull, manufactured in Saxony by C.F. Schuster + Sohn”, stamped on back of scroll “conservatory violin”
