C3853 Bertholini, Mirecourt 1810
Dark, warm on lower strings, but bright up the range, this violin is easy to play. The Bertholini range was made in the Laberte-Humbert workshop in Mirecourt. The clean work, blackened scroll chamfers and rib joints lead to suggest that this instrument ranked in the top quality of the Bertholini range.
