Description
Reference: C5154 – Victor Thomassin Circa 1900, London
Description: Fine quality bow made in the French style after Voirin, with a few quaint English touches: Hill style button, the frog is a mix of style of Claude Thomassin and London maker Allen. Good fine Pernambuco stick, original lapping.
Playing qualities: This is a strong stick but flexible, very steady in the upper half, has a brightness to it that would help bring out a darker sounding instrument. Very enjoyable to play on.
