Description
A good and useful example of James Dodd I, made around 1850. The gorgeous pernambuco wood is of the dark stripey kind that you often see used by the Dodd family but available to few other makers. Octagonal stick, good strong bow, 2 minor repairs to the frog. A good bow that works.
Overall length 736mm, weight 60.6 grams (silver lapping) Balance point 264mm
