A good example of Kennedy’s work. This instrument is in a very good state of preservation. It’s amongst the very first, if not the first instrument he made after leaving the employ of the Forster workshop and setting up on his own. It has an evenly applied yellow/orange varnish.
Sound: Typically English, generous and warm.

Certificate/letter of authenticity by: John Dilworth. Also has Hill number which relates to an entry in the archive saying amongst other things ‘Kennedy cello 1803’.
