Description: A very good example of Lanson’s work. The two piece back of even and fairly close rippled sycamore/maple. The ribs and scroll of similar wood. Front of two piece pine of a fiarly wide grain but even growth. Attractive varnish of a dark brown on a golden ground.
Sound: Rich, luxurious, smooth – translates vibrato well.
Condition: very good. Original varnish. Recently restored by us.
